THE HQS WELLINGTON & LIVERY HALL OF
THE HONOURABLE COMPANY OF MASTER MARINERS
Westminster has paid many visits to City Livery Companies, but the Honourable Company of Master Mariners is very different in being sited on board a ship. In 1947 HMS Wellington was purchased by the Livery Company to serve as their livery hall and headquarters, moored on the Thames. On board are a library, boardroom and impressive spaces in which are displayed an important collection of marine paintings, silver and other artefacts of maritime significance. Tea and coffee are included.
